How do I download the iPhone/iPad app?
On an iPad: Tap App Store on your device.  In the upper right side of the screen, type PBS Video in the search textbox and tap Search. Tap the cloud icon  located to the right of the app title. A circle icon will appear and a line will slowly fill the edge of the circle. When the line has gone completely around the circle icon, the app has been downloaded.  Click OPEN. On an iPhone: Tap App Store on your device.  At the bottom of the screen, tap the magnifying glass icon. Tap the search textbox located at the top of the screen and type PBS Video. Tap Search. Tap the cloud icon  located to the right of the app title. A circle icon will appear and a line will slowly fill the edge of the circle. When the line has gone completely around the circle icon, the app has been downloaded.  Click OPEN.

I've downloaded the iPhone/iPad app, what now?
After you have downloaded the PBS app to your device, you have two options: You can click Not Now to begin using the app without signing in. You can click Sign In to create an account or log in to your existing account and begin enjoying the benefits of being a registered user. If you choose to Sign In, you can sign in with your Facebook, Google, or email account or you can click Create one now at the bottom of the screen to create a PBS account.  Learn how to create a PBS account

How do I sign in to the iPhone or iPad app for the first time?
If you are coming to the app for the first time: Tap the green Sign In button in the bottom right of the screen. Sign in with your Google, Facebook, or PBS account and tap Sign in. You are prompted to localize to your local station. Tap Yes to localize. (You can also tap Not Now to skip this step and the app will automatically localize you. To choose a specific station, however, you will need to localize.) What does localize mean? Localize simply means choosing a station whose programming you want to view and to whom you want to send your donations. You'd typically choose the station in the area where you live but you can localize to any station you want. The station that is in your area appears. If you'd like to localize to this station, tap Continue. If this is not the station to which you'd like to localize, go to your Settings menu and tap Local Station to choose another station. You are prompted to connect to Chromecast. Tap the highlighted icon in the upper right side of the screen to connect or tap Got it at the bottom of the screen to continue. What is Chromecast?  Chromecast is a thumb-sized media streaming device that plugs into the HDMI port on your TV. After plugging it in to your TV, all of the content you are viewing on your phone or tablet will appear on your TV screen. Now you can begin browsing the PBS content you love! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you have signed in to the app before: Tap Settings located in the upper left side of the screen. How do I sign out of the iPhone/iPad app?
On an iPad: In the upper left corner of the screen, tap Settings.  Tap My Profile.  Tap the green Sign Out button located at the bottom of the screen. On an iPhone: In the upper left corner of the screen, tap cog icon.  Tap My Profile.  Tap the green Sign Out button located at the bottom of the screen.

How do I browse the iPhone/iPad app?
To browse the iPhone/iPad app, simply tap the links located at the bottom of the main screen. You can browse:  videos shows your local TV Schedule To browse within each category, tap the links located at the top of each individual screen (videos, shows, tv schedule).

How do I interact with videos on the iPhone/iPad app?
When you tap the Videos tab and view the New, Featured, or Popular video page, tap the three dots located to the right of each video title. This brings up a menu of options from which you can choose including: Play video  Save to Watchlist  View details  Add to Favorites  View more from the same content channel   Alternatively, you can tap the actual video to: Add to Watchlist  View more from the same content channel

Your Watchlist is the place where you can:  resume watching videos;  quickly retrieve videos you saved to watch later;   access videos you have watched in the past. From the main Videos screen, tap an individual video and tap the Add To My Watchlist icon located at the bottom of the video, directly beneath the video title.  The video is added to your Watchlist. How do I interact with Shows on the iPhone/iPad app?
Each PBS show is represented by an image icon that can be tapped to access a particular show and:  add the show to your Favorites  view information about the show and donate to your local station  view all available episodes  view all available clips  view all available previews   Viewing show information, episodes, clips, and previews is represented by four boxes available at the top of the screen. Tap each box to go to that section. To interact with each episode, clip, and preview, tap the three vertical dots that are located to the right of each video title. To add a show to your Favorites, tap Favorite Show in the upper right corner of the screen. After you have added the show to your Favorites the star turns from grey to yellow, indicating that this show is now in your Favorites list.
